Here are some key points about Kambo:

  1. Origin and Tradition: Kambo has been used for centuries by indigenous tribes in the Amazon as a way to cleanse and heal the body, mind, and spirit. It is considered a powerful purgative and is often used as a form of spiritual and physical purification.
  2. Ceremonial Use: Kambo is typically administered through small burns or superficial scratches on the skin, allowing the secretion to be absorbed directly into the bloodstream. The ritual is conducted by a trained practitioner known as a “Kambo practitioner” or “Kambo shaman.” The secretion is usually collected harmlessly from the frog, and the frog is released afterward.
  3. Effects: The effects of Kambo can vary from person to person but often include intense physical sensations such as sweating, nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. These effects are considered part of the purgative process, helping to cleanse the body of toxins and impurities.
  4. Healing Properties: Proponents of Kambo believe that it has various health benefits, including boosting the immune system, relieving pain, reducing inflammation, and detoxifying the body. Some also claim that it can help with mental and emotional healing, as well as spiritual growth.
  5. Safety and Risks: While Kambo is generally considered safe when administered by a trained practitioner, there are risks involved, particularly for people with certain medical conditions or sensitivities. The intense physical effects can be challenging for some individuals to tolerate.

This meticulously curated retreat offers a transformative journey of healing and spiritual growth, weaving together a rich tapestry of ceremonial experiences. Rooted in the principles of purification and inner exploration, the retreat features three Kambo ceremonies renowned for their profound detoxifying and immune-enhancing properties, facilitating physical, emotional, and spiritual cleansing. In addition to the grounding effects of the Sacred Tobacco Ceremony, participants are also invited to partake in a Cacao Ceremony, harnessing the heart-opening and mood-enhancing benefits of ceremonial-grade cacao. Complementing these rituals are three Plant Medicine Ceremonies, allowing participants to choose from Ayahuasca, Psilocybin, and/or San Pedro, each offering unique pathways to profound insights, self-discovery, and spiritual connection. Together, these ceremonies form a holistic and transformative journey, guiding participants toward profound healing, personal transformation, and a deeper connection with themselves and the natural world.
