Sacha Wasi Retreats – Deep Immersion Dieta with Master Plant Teachers
- 28-day (4-week) Program: $3,995.00
- 35-day (5-week) Program: $4,995.00
This program is an opportunity to go deeper within oneself, connect more fully with Ayahuasca, and learn the teachings of additional master plant teachers of the jungle.
Sacha Wasi Retreats is proud to offer an immersive 28-day – 35-day (4 & 5 week) program, allowing participants to embark on a transformative plant medicine dieta deep within the Amazon rainforest in Ecuador.
This program offers a rare opportunity to connect more fully with Ayahuasca, as well as learn from additional master plant teachers of the jungle. Led by indigenous Kichwa Yachaks, participants can choose dietas lasting up to 9 weeks, with full immersions in traditional master plant dietas and shamanic apprenticeships.
Each dieta includes ceremonies featuring Ayahuasca, as well as three additional choices – Psilocybin, San Pedro and Guandu – all of which are rooted in ancestral traditions and take place in a serene bamboo maloca surrounded by nature.
This is a long-term commitment for those seeking to take the next step in their healing journey. In the Kichwa tradition, master plants are revered as sacred healers and teachers, each with unique knowledge and teachings for different purposes.
Through an isolation dieta with a master plant and Ayahuasca, participants can gain knowledge of that plant, deepen their healing, learn how to heal others, and further explore and understand the world of plant medicines.
The master plants are transformed into tea using the leaves, flowers, bark, or roots of the plant or tree and consumed according to the schedule prescribed by the madre shaman, or master healer.
Join us for this life-changing opportunity to connect with plant medicine and explore the depths of your inner self.
WHAT HAPPENS ON A MASTER PLANT DIET?
If you’re curious about what a master plant diet entails, let us fill you in. First, you’ll have a consultation with our head Yachak to discuss your unique situation and intentions. Based on this, they’ll recommend a plant teacher for you to work with.
You’ll consume the plant you’ve chosen (usually in the form of a tea) and then begin a stricter diet than your typical Ayahuasca dieta – this means no salt, sugar, oil, fats, or energetic transfers such as physical touch or sex.
The Yachak will lead an Ayahuasca ceremony to open your dieta and help you connect with the spirit of your chosen plant. From there, you’ll be able to receive the knowledge and teachings of the plant throughout the course of your dieta, both during and outside of ceremonies.
HOW LONG IS THIS PROGRAM?
At Sacha Wasi Retreats, we don’t have fixed slots for our programs. You have the flexibility to choose the length of your stay according to your needs, and can begin as soon as you’re ready, subject to availability.
HOW MANY AYA CEREMONIES WILL I BE ABLE TO PARTICIPATE IN?
Curious about how many Ayahuasca ceremonies you’ll be participating in during your stay? For our longer-term dietas, you’ll take part in an unlimited number of ayahuasca ceremonies. It all depends on you and what you and the master Yachak decide is best for you. The first ceremony involves revealing the plants or trees that you’ll be dieting, while the second one is where your dieta will be opened by the Yachak. The final ceremony takes place at the end of your term, where the dieta is closed.
It’s crucial to have the time and space to connect with your plant teacher on a deeper level, so we space out the ceremonies accordingly. Due to the clean diet and guidance from your plant teacher, you’ll be able to go much deeper during the ceremony and will have ample time to process and reflect between ceremonies.
CAN I CONNECT WITH OTHER GUESTS?
Are you wondering about connecting with other guests during your stay? As this program is designed for deep introspection and reflection, you’ll have your own casita to ensure privacy and isolation, however, ceremonies are communal, and depending on where you are at in your dieta, you may be invited to participate in some group activities.
To help facilitate this, we recommend minimizing interaction with others, including refraining from physical contact. Your daily meals will be brought to your casita, and you’ll have amenities such as bottled drinking water, a private bathroom, a shower with hot water, and a yoga mat, readily available in your room.
While our facilitators and Yachaks will periodically check in on you, we encourage you to limit interactions with others and prioritize your own healing journey. By focusing on your plant and personal growth, you’ll have the space and opportunity to connect more deeply with yourself.
Accommodation: At our retreat, guests are welcome to immerse themselves in the beauty of the Amazon rainforest while staying in comfortable and locally-constructed bamboo huts. Our rustic casitas offer all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay, including high-speed internet, electricity, and hot showers. Guests can enjoy three delicious meals per day, as well as access to laundry facilities.
In between ceremonies, guests are invited to explore the stunning surroundings and embark on adventures in the heart of the Amazon. From river canoeing and jungle hikes to a breathtaking viewpoint overlooking the rainforest, there is something for everyone at our retreat. Our backyard is the perfect place for guests to connect with nature and deepen their spiritual journey.
Food: At Sacha Wasi, guests can savor the flavors of authentic Ecuadorian and Kichwa cuisine at our outdoor Comedor (dining hall). With the tranquil flow of the river just steps away, each meal is a sensory experience unlike any other.
Each day starts with a cup of traditional tea made from leaves and roots harvested from the Amazon jungle, providing a true taste of the local culture. Our meals are prepared with love and joy by the women of the Kichwa community and are designed to meet a range of dietary needs, including vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, dairy-free, and meals with meat.
On a dieta you’re diet may be severely restricted and 100% compliance is required.
